Currently, most automobile air conditioners still use Freon refrigerant. However, the chemical production of Freon will consume a lot of energy and increase carbon dioxide emissions. Therefore, the use of Freon in Europe is restricted by relevant laws such as F-gas. By virtue of an innovative technology, R744 heat pump air conditioner produced by Molead directly purifies carbon dioxide from atmosphere or industrial waste gas as refrigerant. Its applicable temperature of low-temperature heating can be extended to -30°C, greatly expanding its application range. In addition, the CO2 heat pumpt boasts low-a temperature heating energy efficiency more than 50% higher than that of ordinary heat pumps. It can effectively solve the problems of power consumption and driving range of electric buses at a low temperature, improve economic efficiency and reduce carbon emissions. In addition to the advantage of heating, this air conditioner also performs well in cooling at a high temperature up to 40°C. This is a systematic solution considering both heating at ultra-low temperature in winter and cooling at high-temperature in summer.

Cooling/Heating Defroster

Based on long-term customer visits and R&D experience, we find that the driver zone is far away from the passenger zone A/C and directly exposed to sunlight in summer. This is not nice for the driver. This integrated cooling/heating defroster specially designed for new energy buses is a product developed for this pain point, with more than 3,000 units in the existing market.

This cooling/heating defroster features both cooling and heating functions. In addition to the basic 5 kw cooling configuration, it has two optional heating configurations: adjustable 3/5/8 kw three-mode heating or 0-6 kw stepless heating, creating an all-weather comfortable environment for drivers. In addition, the product features a variety of blower modes such as defrosting, head blowing, footwell, defrosting and footwell, head blowing and footwell, as well as fresh air functions, providing drivers with passenger car-level experience. In addition to these basic functions, it can also integrate the safe driving module in the driver zone to realize automatic defogging and solve the problem of "frosting and fogging" on the front windshield.

Compartment Electric Heater

The noise of this compartment electric heater is less than 59 dB during operation and the air volume can be adjusted with gears to adapt to different environments and bring passengers a quiet and comfortable riding experience. The product is beautiful and elegant, easy to install, simple in appearance without exposed screws, and streamlined in the vehicle environment. It is equipped with a fan with 20,000h ultra-long service life. Its high voltage protection is of IP68 and EMC-3. Certified by E-Mark, it is safe and reliable. Several heating power steps are available. Fan mode, harness direction, overall dimensions and other configurations are all so arranged to adapt to different scenarios, allowing for convenient use. It has been applied in batches by OEMs such as Yutong, TEMSA and Marcopolo.

Independent Battery Thermal Management Unit

The battery thermal management unit is a part of the battery management system. It is mainly used to provide a environment of appropriate temperature for the traction battery and keep the traction battery operating reliably and safely. Using the proven liquid cooling technology, this product features high cooling efficiency. Liquid cooling is the mainstream cooling mode for traction batteries at present.

Our battery thermal management products were developed in 2015 and have been widely used in battery electric buses, trucks and construction machinery. We have sold more than 30,000 sets and have rich application experience in product reliability and environmental adaptability. At present, Molead independent battery thermal management unit can be used in scenarios at temperatures from -20°C to 60°C. A single system can meet the needs of covering 3~10 kW batteries. Equipped with an optional low-temperature heat dissipation function, this unit can even operate at a temperature as low as -40°C. The product can be installed in vehicles of Yutong, Sany, Dongfeng, Shaanxi Automobile and other brands for long-term operation in urban roads, mines and other scenarios. It can operate stably and continuously in various climatic environments from Qatar to northern China.

In addition to basic functions, this series of products can also be provided with fault self-diagnosis function and OTA, or systematically customized according to the personalized needs of customers.
